ESET has announced that the new versions of NOD32 Antivirus, Internet Security, and Smart Security Premium, designed for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android platforms, offer increased reliability, boosted speed, and more effective tools to block modern cyber threats. Special attention was paid to the integration of protective machine-learning technologies that use the power of neural networks.
The Host-based Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), the Anti-Phishing module, and the Home Network Protection component have also been improved. Now ESET NOD32 solutions detect all devices connected to the home Wi-Fi network, provide detailed information about them, and also report possible problems like various vulnerabilities or weak passwords.
There are also significant improvements to the Banking and Payment Protection module. Now it works with an extended list of banking sites and online-based crypto wallets, and also supports the HTTP / 2 protocol. ESET NOD32 Internet Security contains a predefined list of sites that cause a secure ‘banking’ browser to launch.
